This par four hole is played uphill and turns slightly from right to left. The tee shot is played over a wide expanse of heather, with a landing area which is quite narrow, with trees, heather and rough lining the fairway. A drive which moves gently from right to left will counteract the natural fall of the fairway and provide the best angle of approach to the green. A row of heather covered banks on the right-hand side and rough on the left protect the green which slopes from back to front.
