A relatively short par four hole which provides a stiff challenge despite its length. An ideal tee shot needs to carry dense heather and avoid further heather and rough on either side of the fairway. The approach shot is played uphill over more heather, to a two-tier green. The green falls away on either side into grassy areas, particularly on the left. Judging the approach shot accurately is essential if the correct level is to be found. When the flag is at the top of the two-tier green, a bold shot with plenty of club is required.
