Visitor Welcome

Societies, groups and individuals are all welcome at Piltdown. Our society packages can be tailored to your exact requirements and can include golf, drinks and superb food.

Dress Code

On the course, usual golf attire is expected. Shorts must be tailored (no cargo shorts) and worn with sports socks of any length. Shirts should be tucked in. In and around the clubhouse, smart casual wear, including jeans, or clean golfing attire is acceptable. Please do not wear flip-flops, sandals without socks or hats in the clubhouse. In the dining room, gentlemen are to wear jacket and tie, except on days when this requirement is expressly relaxed.

Catering

Piltdown has an outstanding reputation for food, and there is a tempting and varied menu on most days of the week. All our food is homemade and we are fortunate to have three chefs who complement each other perfectly well. Lizzie Harman is our catering manager and her baking and farmhouse background has given her an excellent reputation for home baked pies, cakes and puddings.

An enticing range of bar snacks is available in the lounge bar, including sandwiches, paninis, brunch, fish and chips, and daily seasonal specials. Our house manager Emily and her team will ensure you receive a friendly welcome and efficient service.

By paying a green fee you are accepting the rules of the c lub, as well as our dress code.

Buggies can be hired for £35 with the pro shop (01825 722389).

County cards are only accepted by prior arrangement Monday to Friday, after 1pm in the summer and 12pm in the winter.
Please note - No more than 4 county cards in one booking, or 8 in total on one day.
