The fourteenth hole is a lengthy par four which moves gently from left to right. A long accurate tee shot is required which must avoid heather to the left side of the fairway and very dense gorse to the right. Finding the right-hand side of the fairway shortens the hole and provides a better angle to approach the green. Bands of heather and cross-rough must be negotiated to reach the green which slopes from left to right and also falls away to the back.
