The Piltdown Academy
The Piltdown Golf Academy was launched in 2013 and we currently have about 100 members across the Beginner, Refresher, Advanced, Advanced +, Family and Practice categories.
The first three categories are all individual packages meant to follow a progression. Our goal is that after three years in the Academy, a brand new golfer will have acquired the skills and confidence necessary to play regular golf and obtain a handicap. At only £450 for a calendar year, you will receive the following benefits:
- A membership card with £25 credit to spend in the clubhouse
- 10% discount on bar and catering purchases
- 50 tokens for use on the driving range
- Unlimited access to the practice facilities and the clubhouse
- Access to a wide range of social events
As well as:
BEGINNER - Eight group lessons, three individual lessons, and twelve rounds of 9 holes in the afternoons.
REFRESHER – Five group lessons, two individual lessons and 20 rounds of rounds of 9 holes in the afternoons.
ADVANCED – Three group lessons and 24 rounds of rounds of 9 holes in the afternoons.
ADVANCED + - Unlimited golf, access to competitions except Trophies (£795).
This pathway is designed for beginners, to be done in the order above over four years.
THE FAMILY PACKAGE is designed for up to two adults and two children to join as a family for £595. The benefits are:
- A membership card with £25 credit to spend in the clubhouse
- 20 rounds of golf to share (or 40 x 9 holes) in the afternoons
- 50 driving range tokens
- One group family lesson
- One individual lesson each
Please note that you cannot join the Academy if you are a playing member of another golf club.
