The eleventh hole is a left-to-right dog-leg which requires a well-placed drive to the elbow of the dog-leg. Dont be fooled by the distant flag that can be seen from the tee, which is actually the eighth. Dense heather is present on both sides of the fairway and must be avoided if the green is to be reached in two shots. An ideal drive, favouring the left-hand side of the fairway and moving left to right will provide a shorter approach. A shallow gully fronts the green which can harshly penalise a shot that does not carry all the way to the green on the full.
